Coronavirus or Covid 19

During the pandemic we are unable to run church services as we normally would, and what we are allowed to do changes regularly with the changes in government guidelines, making it difficult to plan long-term.

See below for current dates and plans for in-person Sunday Services.

Sunday 7 March 2021

In-person Church Service at the Church 10.30 to 11.45 approx.

This Church Service will focus on worship, prayer and preaching.

Please book with Helen Roberts, Church Secretary, if you would like to come to attend this Church Service.

In order to keep people as safe as possible and to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus the following measures will be in place:

  • There will be at least 1.5 meters between each block of seating
  • You can only sit with people that you are living with, or are in a support bubble with
  • You will be required to wear a face mask or face covering from the point of entry to exit., unless exempt
  • The fire exit near the creche will be used as our main entrance and exit.
  • The usual main entrance with the ramp will be used as disabled access entrance/exit only.
  • You will be required to use hand sanitising stations on arrival, leaving and after using the toilets
  • A steward will show you where to sit..
  • At the end of the session, we will ask all attendees to leave immediately, as directed by a steward.
  • You can bring a bottle of water as the kitchen will be ‘off limits’, but please take it home with you.
  • A toilet steward will clean and monitor the toilets at all times.
  • There will be no Sunday School and the crèche will be closed.  Children are the responsibility of the parent/carer who brings them. Please ensure that they maintain social distancing.
  • We are required by law to keep a record of your name for 21 days to support the Track and Trace system
  • You will not be able to enter the building if you or a member of your household have or might have Coronavirus, or if you have symptoms of Coronavirus. We will ask you at the door., and take your temperature.
  • Please arrive at the same time as those that you are sitting with, if possible.

In-person Church Prayer Service at the Church 10.30 to 11.45 approx.

This Church Prayer Service will focus on prayer.

There is no need to book for this service, just turn up.
